Recover your stolen Mac with the latest theft-recover software, Orbicule's newly-introduced Undercover 2.5.
The software - designed and developed exclusively for OS X - is a hidden spy that resides inside your Mac, and is able to tell you where it is by sharing its IP address - and can even simulate a breakdown in an attempt to get a thief to take it for repair.
In case of theft, Undercover activates on the stolen Mac and starts transmitting network information, screenshots and iSight pictures.
Using this information, the Undercover recovery center works with the relevant ISP and local police to attempt recovery of the stolen machine.
One singular change in this version is that Undercover now only connects to the internet when a network change occurs, reducing network traffic while making the recovering system even more aggressive.
The memory and processor demands of the application have also been reduced by up to 75 per cent.
A single user license costs $49, a household license is available for $59. Student discounts and site licenses are available. This version is a free upgrade for existing users.
