I really wish the government, local and state organization really had someone who knew what was going on with Security. Another laptop stolen and since they are worried about the contents that means it was not encrypted. I don't understand how we have CIO's VP's and IT Manager that don't get it. It is not that hard to by a full disk encryption software package that would take care of laptops and also usb drives.
Maybe one day when we lose a laptop with nuclear firing codes on it people will get the idea. Also this is a prime example that you need to encrypt all computers in your company, not just laptops. Because you could have someone break in and take what they want.
McCain should have a CIO running all of his IT for his campaign. If he does fire him John, he did not do his job. Call me I will help you, it is not that hard. You can call also Obama, I am an independant so it makes no matter to me.
